About Me

I am Hajia Rabi Salifu, Deputy National Communications Director of the New Patriotic Party — and you may know my voice from Ghanaian television and radio, from JoyNews and TV3 to Metro TV, GHOne and Starr FM.

They call me “Hajia Nakoowa” — for everyone. A name earned, not given.

From my student days in TESCON to grassroots organising across the Northern Region, I have devoted my life to Zongo communities, women and young people. Being installed as Development Queen-mother of the Baribari (Kanuri) community in Ghana remains one of the great honours of my life.

Early Years

I served as treasurer in the NPP’s tertiary students’ wing during my university days.

I was installed as Development Queen-mother, and I serve as political aide to the former Vice-President.
